Lab Results Navigation

Filter Barcodes: This function provides the user with a field to search for a specific barcode within the lab test result page. Simply type the barcode into the white cell shown, and click the Funnel to filter. Click the funnel-X to clear the search

Import Test Result: The button itself will default to Download Direct, or the drop down to the right can be used to import results from File or Reload results

Close Window: Closes out of the Lab Test Result page, returning the user to the SoilMate home page

Each of the green headings in the Lab Test table are single-click alphabetical sorters, or have drop down selection options to further filter the results seen in this window.

Barcode: Hyperlinks to the individual barcodes information including sample date, GPS information and raw Lab Result data

Parent Barcode: Column will indicate if samples are in a profile, each of the subordinate samples will have their Parent Barcode (from the order screen) listed here. Subordinate samples will not have a Recommendation starter, as this is linked to the surface sample

PO No: Hyperlinks to the Sample Order form for the selected Purchase Order

Product: Identifies the selected product for each completed sample

Trading Name,Farm, Paddock, Sample Date, Import Date: Specific information applying to each barcoded sample

Recs: Indicates how many recommendations have been completed for each sample, if any

Example 1: Show only samples belonging to the Road paddock

1. Open SoilMate program
2. Click Lab Test Results
3. Hover over the Paddock heading (green cell)
4. Click the drop down that appears in the right of this cell
5. Click the words "Text Filter" in the bottom left of the drop down box
6. Select "contains" from the first drop down - "show rows where the value contains"...
7. Type "road" into the cell beside contains
8. Click Apply filter

Your Lab Test result page will now only show samples belonging to Road Paddock. A tick alongside the green Paddock cell indicates that a filter has been applied.

To remove the filter

9. Click the tick in the green Paddock cell
10. Click Clear Filter

All samples will now be shown on-screen.

Example 2: Show only samples with 0 recommendations complete

1. Open SoilMate program
2. Click Lab Test Results
3. Hover over the green Recommendation cell
4. Click the down arrow in the right of the cell
5. Tick the Select All tickbox to de-select all options
6. Click in the 0 tickbox
7. Click Apply Filter

Only sample results with 0 recommendations will be shown on screen. Please note, only surface samples will be shown here, as subordinate samples recommendations are linked to their Surface sample. Please note the black tick in the Recommendation heading, indicating a filter is present.

To remove Filter

8. Click the black tick in the Recommendation box
9. Click Clear Filter

All samples will now be shown on-screen

Hovering over the components in the Lab Test Result page will indicate the action completed by each of the available icons, these are listed below.

Deletes the sample on selected row

Loads the printable preview of the sample results. For profile samples, click the Surface sample to see a preview will all samples in the profile

Loads the status report for the selected sample based on the Evaluation Table selected in the Order form. The ET can be added or adjusted at any time by entering the Purchase Order for the required sample, adding and Evaluation and saving the changes

Allows the user to detach the sample from it's Purchase Order. This might be used if a sample has been logged under an incorrect Purchase Order, and needs to be re-entered under another. The sample would be detached, deleted, the sample order fixed/recreated and the sample re-imported with correct PO detail (as modified by lab).

Indicates how many recommendations have been completed per sample (remember that in a profile only Surface Samples hold this information, as sub-samples are analysed as part of the profile, not independently), and allows the user to quick-start a recommendation for the selected sample
